Apex Rail has been providing civil and rail services across Victoria since 2014.

In that time, we have successfully completed a number of extensive projects from Track Maintenance and Construction, Bulk Earthworks, Drainage Installation, Bridge Structures, Culvert Replacements and Subgrade Stabilisation Works.

We are currently pre-approved subcontractors for V/Line and Metro Trains Melbourne (MTM) and have worked as part of major Alliance and Joint Venture teams and well as directly with asset owners to deliver works across both the Metro and Regional rail networks.

SHEPARTON CORRIDOR UPGRADE PROJECT

Project Start/Finish Date: August 2021 to February 2022

Client: Coleman Rail

Murchison East Loop

Earthworks – Strip Topsoil and Organic material, Bulk Earthworks and Subgrade Preparation, Track Formation Works.

Drainage - Construct and installation of new formation and access track cess drains. Drainage was installed across the Murchison Passing Loop.

Stabling Yard, Mainline Slew and Turn out

Earthworks - Strip Topsoil, Bulk Earthworks – Cut to Fill and load out of excess material, Lime stabilization, Place and compact – Structural Fill, Capping Bottom Ballast.

Drainage - RCP Pipe, cess Drainage, Cross Track Culverts, Subsoil Drainage, Intertrack Drainage.

Piling -Bored Piling works (including placement of Pile cage & rag bolt sets, Services Gantry Piles, Light pole and CCTV piles, Amenities Building Slab and footings, Storage Building slab and footings.
